Directions from Exeter M5

M5 southbound at Kennford split keep left lane for Torquay A380, (Right hand fork goes to Plymouth via A38) go up Telegraph Hill. Long hill, Cafe on left at very top of hill. The Jet Filling station is on the other side of the road.

From Torquay (A380) leave at new junction signposted for Plymouth A38, just before Jet garage, slip road is also entrance to Jet garage then go right over new bridge, signposted back to Torquay, Cafe on your left.

I wish to thank the staff for efficiently and cheerfully dealing with 35 of our Chapter members and friends on last Sunday morning, 13th February. We enjoyed our visit and excellent food, as ever and the weather was fine, if cold. However it is February after all!. We look forward to seeing you again. (The Christmas cake was superb!)

Sat Nav Details:

I suggest you download this websites poi file for Transport Cafes which is FREE, and dead accurate for this Transport Cafe Truck Stop. You will find it as a large yellow block section near the bottom of each cafe list page, however read on,,,,,

(Post Code is EX6 7XW which shows the Cafe on the wrong side of the dual carriagway) TOM TOM Sat Nav can be set by looking for Exeter then selecting Telegraph Hill. The A380 then shows as an option, which could be finally selected. Other Sat Navs will be enabled from this information. Tom Tom Sat Nav also has the Jet Filling station (which is opposite) on the petrol stations list of points of interest, but the Jet Filling station is on the other side of the carriageway. Access to both sides is easy enough via local roundabouts or bridges.

Owners Information

Halden Grill Exeter is located on the A380 Torquay Road just after the end of the M5, its easy to get to from the A38 also. The Haldon Grill is known as "The Grill on the Hill" and is situated on Telegraph Hill Kennford, just outside of Exeter on the main A380, Torquay Road. With the construction of the new road bridge just on our doorstep, there is now a direct link with the A38, Devon Expressway. Ample parking, with overnight parking available by arrangement. Andy & Lisa welcome all users of the road to our warm and friendly Cafe, good value for money, daily specials and our friendly staff will greet you all with a smile!
