Take the first exit off the roundabout heading towards Orton.
J38 services is 100metres on your left. Follow through initially keeping to the right into the Lorry Park at the rear. The Transport Cafe is seen in the top right hand photograph, enjoy a good meal!

Diesel is available on site 24 hours a day 7 days a week 52 weeks of the year.
This facility is fully automated, Manual operation and service is available most of the daylight hours. CCTV high resolution coverage with night light vision.

Secure overnight parking, includes a designated refrigerated parking area and changeover bays. The Lorry Park has been awarded the "Park Mark Safer Parking Award"

All parking tickets must be validated at a till point in the main building or forecourt
An HGV marshal is on duty each evening.
Parking charges as February 1st 2010 are £8.00 per night which includes £2.00 food voucher & free shower.

Transport Cafe Hours of Business

The Transport Cafe is open as follows
Sunday to Friday 06.30hrs - 22.30hrs
Saturday 06.30hrs - 19.00hrs
All the food is homemade. All the beef and lamb used is sourced from the family farm. Dishes include all day breakfasts, soup, pies, curry (meat & vegetarian) daily roasts, salad bar, homemade cakes and scones, traditional hot puddings.

History/Details of Establishment

J38 Truck Stop is owned by Westmorland Limited a family run company who also own the award winning Westmorland Services and farm shops 3 miles north of J38.

In 2007 J38 had a major refurbishment costing £500,000 and was relaunched by Sally Traffic of BBC radio 2.
